Heating & cooling
Ducted heating & cooling
Whole-home reverse cycle, zoned room by room, run through the roof space and out of sight. One system, every room, every season.

The whole house off one system
A ducted system puts the indoor unit in the roof space and feeds insulated ducting to a vent in every room. All you see is the outlets in the ceiling and a controller on the wall. It is the tidiest way to condition a whole house, and the only sensible option if you want the bedrooms and the living areas comfortable at the same time.
Reverse cycle means it does both jobs. In July it is your heating; in January it is your cooling. There is no second system to buy, service or find room for.
- Zoned, so you can shut down the end of the house nobody is in
- Nothing on the walls except a controller
- Heats and cools from one system
- Runs at a fraction of what ducted gas costs
Done properly through the roof
Most of the work on a ducted job happens where you never see it. Plenum in the right spot, duct runs kept short and straight, everything strapped and sealed, and the outdoor unit sited where it will not keep the neighbours awake.
We balance the system on commissioning so the far bedroom gets its share instead of everything dumping out of the closest vent, then walk you through the controller before we leave.
Replacing gas ducted
If you already have ducted gas, a lot of the hard work is done — the ducting and outlets are in the ceiling. Swapping the gas unit for reverse cycle is usually straightforward, and it takes the gas heating bill off the table. Ask us to look at what you have got.
